Jarod assists with the underwriting and origination of new debt products for Hankey Capital. His responsibilities include due diligence, financial modeling, sourcing, structuring, valuation, and market research.

Jarod has worked on financing and sale transactions over $4B refining his experience across all real estate stages and asset classes. Prior to Hankey he was a capital advisor at George Smith Partners where he consulted on debt and equity capitalizations for CRE investors. Jarod managed the underwriting and credit process for Barclays Capital that resulted in the funding of over 100 CMBS permanent loans valued over $2.4B. Previously, he consulted for PE firms in the distressed debt space underwriting over $1B of non-performing loans. Originally, Jarod began his career in Santa Barbara, CA as an investment sales broker where he represented buyers and sellers.

Jarod holds his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Santa Barbara (2003).
