Mike is assisting in the rapid growth of the lending platform of Hankey Capital.  His responsibilities include originations, underwriting, due diligence, operations management, and asset performance.

Mike began his career in real estate in 2003 and has attained diverse experience in lending, development, asset management, direct equity investments, and brokerage across a multitude of property types nationwide.  Most recently, Mike was an integral contributor at Sabal Financial Group where he played an essential role in the acquisition and value maximization of over $6B of commercial real estate and construction loans over a 7-year period.

Mike earned a dual Master of Real Estate Development and Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management Economics from UC Santa Cruz.
